FC BARCELONA TO OPEN YOUTH ACADEMY IN LAGOS NIGERIA.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on Monday welcomed the decision of Barcelona Football Club (FC) of Spain to establish its first Football Academy in Africa in Lagos, just as he pledged the maximum support of the government in ensuring the successful take off of the project.

ARIK AIR INTRODUCES NEW PAYMENT PLATFORM IN ACCRA

Arik Air, West and Central Africa’s largest airline, has introduced new payment platform for

customers in Accra, Ghana. This is aimed at simplifying the process of ticket payment.

The new platform known as Paga settlement is now available in two banks, GT Bank and

Standard Chartered Bank while Access Bank and Barclays Bank will join later.

ZIKA VIRUS: GULF AIRLINES OFFER TICKET REFUND TO AFFECTED DESTINATIONS.

 Emirates has offered refunds to passengers who have bought tickets to countries hit by the Zika virus, it has announced.

The World Health Organisation declared the mosquito-borne Zika virus an global public health emergency at the first meeting of the International Health Regulations committee on Monday.
