ARIK AIR UNVEILS NIGERIA - GABON ROUTE

Arik Air is introducing a new service between Nigeria and Gabon as part of the airline’s expansion programme.

Commencing February 12th, Arik Air will be flying from both Nigerian cities of Lagos and Port Harcourt to Libreville, Gabon.

This will be the first international route launch in 2016 by any airline in Nigeria and also the first in the series of new destinations the airline is planning for its tenth anniversary year.

EMIRATES LAUNCHES GLOBAL FARE DISCOUNTS

Emirates Airline has launched discounted fares across its global network to encourage

travellers to explore new destinations in 2016.

The Dubai-based airline said it has special offers on business and economy class fares on

bookings made until January 18, for travel until November 30.

BUMPER RETURNS FOR CAPE TOWN TOURISM

The Cape Town tourism attractions reported bumper holiday season so far..

According to preliminary figures and sentiments from Cape Town’s attractions, it appears as though the city has enjoyed one of the busiest ever holiday periods so far. Table Mountain Cableway and Robben Island have revealed record-breaking visitor numbers, with other big attractions also sharing positive forecasts.

Table Mountain Aerial Cableway had a record December with 28% more visitors than in

December 2014, reportedly because the weather was extremely favourable and they were

open every single day in December.

2016 - NEW YEAR FIREWORKS ACROSS THE UAE
