Emirates Airline has launched discounted fares across its global network to encourage
travellers to explore new destinations in 2016.
The Dubai-based airline said it has special offers on business and economy class fares on
In a statement, the carrier said all inclusive economy class fares from Dubai to Middle East
and Asian destinations start at AED615 ($167) to Muscat, AED935 to Karachi, AED1,025 to
Mumbai, AED2,205 to Manila and AED2,245 to Kuala Lumpur.
Emirates did not reveal the percentage discount on any of these offers.
As part of the sale, economy class fares to European cities like Munich start at AED2,625,
Barcelona at AED2,815, Paris at AED3,695 and fares to North and Central American cities
like Los Angeles start at AED4,945 and Panama City at AED6,345.
“We know that many people have begun thinking about their travel plans and aspirations
for 2016, and we are pleased to add a little more inspiration and incentive to help turn those
plans and dreams into reality,” said Thierry Antinori, Emirates’ executive vice president and
chief commercial officer.
“Our global destination network across six continents offers something for every traveller,
and we are now combining that wide range of travel choices with special rates to offer
would-be travellers with an even more appealing value proposition.”
Emirates flies to over 140 cities in 80 countries and will commence flights to Panama City
on February 1, opening the airline’s first gateway destination in Central America. Emirates
will also expand its services in mainland China with flights to Yinchuan and Zhengzhou
from May 3.
