The 9th World Choir Games kicks off in about a week from now. The event known as "sochirussia2016" holds in the Russian black sea coastal city of Sochi, host city of the 2014 winter Olympics between, July 06 - 16, 2016.

BAHRAIN EASES VISA BARRIERS FOR AFRICAN VISITORS

Bahrain has introduced eVisas to visitors from eleven African countries, marking the third phase of the Kingdom’s new visa policy.

The new phase allows nationals from Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mozambique, Cameroon, Gabon, Senegal, Mauritius and Seychelles to obtain their visas online ahead of travel, via the government’s eVisa website.

RWANDAIR OFFERS DISCOUNT TO THE 27TH AFRICAN UNION SUMMIT DELEGATES

NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE FOR AFRICAN LOW-COST AIRLINE FASTJET

The board of fastjet has appointed Nico Bezuidenhout as chief executive of the company.

Bezuidenhout will take up his position and join the board as an executive director on August 1st, 2016.

He will be joining fastjet from Mango Airlines, the low-cost carrier subsidiary of South African Airways, where he has been chief executive since Mango commenced operations ten years ago. 

AIRBNB LAUNCHES BUSINESS TRAVELLER BOOKING FEATURE

Airbnb has announced the launch of a new tool that allows employees to book business travel for co-workers.

As business travel has tripled in growth on Airbnb in 2016, this new feature allows business partners like travel managers and executive assistants to be able to book Airbnb listings on behalf of other employees.
